UAE Ambassador visits Hanoi Xanh Cooperative

The visit by a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Viet Nam was part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation.

On April 4, Hanoi Xanh Cooperative welcomed a delegation from the UAE Embassy in Viet Nam, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Dr. Bader Almatrooshi, along with First Secretary Mr. Eisa Alhammadi and other embassy officials.

The delegation also included Mr. Nguyen Quang Khai, former Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Deputy Director of the Arab-Viet Nam Promotion Center; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh, Vice Chairwoman of the Viet Nam Cooperative Alliance; as well as various partners and business representatives.

The visit aimed to enhance international cooperation, promote trade and expand access to the Halal market - one of the strategic priorities of Hanoi Xanh Cooperative in the current period.

Through this engagement, the cooperative hopes to boost exports of agricultural products, particularly processed goods, to the Middle East and other Muslim-majority markets.

During the program, the delegation visited several production and business models in Lien Minh, O Dien and Dan Phuong communes, including Van Hien Temple, Lan Toan Cau Company, Tan Viet Foods Company, An Lac Farm and a food processing facility. The tour offered participants a closer look at the potential for high-tech agriculture as well as the processing capacity and product diversification of local enterprises.

Ambassador H.E. Dr. Bader Almatrooshi expressed appreciation for the warm welcome from local leaders and Hanoi Xanh Cooperative. He noted strong demand in the UAE for Halal-certified products and said he hopes both sides will expand cooperation, helping more high-quality Vietnamese agricultural products reach the UAE market.

Hanoi Xanh Cooperative aims to add greater value to agricultural products by developing processed goods rather than exporting raw materials. It is also adopting advanced processing technologies, particularly for medicinal herbs and local crops, to improve efficiency and build sustainable value chains.

Currently, Hanoi Xanh Cooperative’s products are made under strict production standards and hold several international certifications, including Halal, GMP and ISO, allowing them to meet the strict requirements of export markets.

The visit is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation and help local agricultural and processed products expand into international markets, especially the growing global Halal market.
