A Vietnamese business delegation is showcasing environmental technologies and recycled products at Eco Expo Asia 2026 in Hong Kong, China, while exploring opportunities for international cooperation.
The 21st Eco Expo Asia, an international exhibition for environmental protection and green technology, takes place from October 26 to 29 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China. The event is a business-to-business (B2B) trade platform focused on environmental protection, green technology and sustainable development.
The exhibition is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK), with support from the Environmental and Ecology Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. Under the theme “Connecting the World for a Sustainable Future”, the event focuses on four key areas: green energy, green cities, innovative technologies and waste-to-resources solutions.
Eco Expo Asia 2026 brings together more than 340 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Notably, businesses from Viet Nam, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore are participating in the exhibition for the first time. As part of the event, the ASEAN Pavilion showcases 12 technologies across four themes: energy, technology, green cities and waste management, highlighting environmentally friendly products and solutions.

In line with Viet Nam’s goals for developing a green and circular economy and reducing emissions, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre has organised a delegation of Vietnamese businesses to exhibit their products and seek trade partnerships at the ASEAN Pavilion. The delegation is led by Mr. Doan Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre.
At the exhibition, Vietnamese businesses are presenting a range of products and technological solutions, particularly in wastewater treatment, plastic and aluminium recycling, and organic agricultural processing. These solutions aim to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste and promote sustainable development.

During the exhibition, Mr. Doan Truong Giang met with representatives of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and Messe Frankfurt. The discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation, share information, promote products and expand trade in Viet Nam’s environmental technologies, green solutions and services in international markets, including Hong Kong.
According to the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre, the Viet Nam booth features an accessible, visual display of environmental treatment technologies and recycled products. It has attracted interest from visitors and international trade partners, giving businesses opportunities to showcase their products, seek partners and expand into new markets.
Participation in Eco Expo Asia 2026 gives Vietnamese businesses a chance to access advanced environmental technologies, build international partnerships and explore distribution channels for green products. Notably, the meeting between the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre and the exhibition organisers also opened the way for cooperation to establish a Viet Nam National Pavilion at the next edition of Eco Expo Asia.
