A group of 7 students from Ha Noi has just been honored to win the SAGE Global 2020 Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurshipwith the corn pulp recycling project. These seven students came from 4 high schools: BVIS, Concordia, BIS and Archimedes.
Not only excelling at winning the championship, this group of students also "won" two additional prizes in the special section on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Agenda 2030. In this section, the team has mentioned the goal of Poverty Eradicationand Climate Change Response.
The students recycle the corn pulp into products for cultivation and animal husbandry such as planting medium, animal feed, biological mat for cattle, poultry and pets, etc. These are all products of natural origin, cheap price and friendly to consumers.
7 students confidently affirmed that the project is capable of raising the income of ethnic minorities in upland areas, living mainly on cultivation. In addition, the project also contributes to reducing environmental pollution and combating greenhouse gas emissions, which are factors directly leading to global warming.
SAGE is a start-up competition for students who have a passion for business and want to solve global issues such as environment, energy, climate change ... This year's competition brings together more than 10,000 students from 30 countries and territories around the world, including representatives from Viet Nam.
