Green Economy Forum and Exhibition 2024: Action for a green future

On the morning of September 24th, the European Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (EuroCham) and the Trade Promotion Agency organized a press conference to introduce the 2024 Green Economy Forum & Exhibition.

With the theme "Building a Green Future," the 2024 Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE 2024) underscores the urgent need for action in response to the impacts of climate change. It's a call to all of us to join hands and build a greener economy forViet Nam. GEFE 2024 is expected to feature over 200 businesses and exhibitors, including 24 companies fromViet Nam, more than 50 from the Netherlands, and 13 national pavilions.

Mr. Bruno Jaspaert, the newly appointed Chairman of EuroCham, emphasized that GEFE 2024 will be an essential platform to foster a spirit of collaboration among government leaders, businesses, and international organizations. It's a collective effort to address the pressing realities of climate change.

Mr. Julien Guerrier, the European Union Ambassador toViet Nam, stated that GEFE is EuroCham's flagship event inViet Nam aimed at promoting greener, more sustainable growth and providing opportunities for collaboration with European businesses leading in both public and private sectors towards a greener future.

At GEFE 2024, discussions will focus on critical topics to promote solutions for a sustainable future: climate resilience, digitalization for green finance, and sustainable energy transition—essential elements forViet Nam to achieve its Net-Zero target by 2050, as committed at COP26.
