The program is funded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) with a total budget of over USD 4.6 million (approximately VND 114.8 billion), and is set to run through 2030.

As part of this initiative, Antwerp Zoo will contribute to two juvenile pheasants and conduct genetic research to ensure genetic diversity within the reintroduced population.
