The Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, themed “Colors of the Ocean - Reaching the World”, will feature nearly 30 cultural, sports, tourism and artistic events.
The Khanh Hoa Sea Festival is scheduled to take place from July 17 to 19, 2026 in Nha Trang, with a large-scale series of cultural, artistic and tourism activities.
According to the plan, the opening ceremony will be held on the evening of July 17. On the afternoon of July 18, the carnival parade themed “Flowers of the Sea Nha Trang” will take place along Tran Phu Street, bringing together around 2,000 participants and colorful tourism floats. On the same day, the final night of Supermodel and Mister Viet Nam 2026, combined with fashion and music performances under the theme “Runway to the World”, will also be staged.

Photo: Kim So.The festival will conclude with the closing ceremony and the international music gala “Unite the Continents - Khanh Hoa welcomes friends from five continents” on the evening of July 19, promising a vibrant atmosphere and cultural exchange among countries.
In addition to the main programs, the festival will feature a wide range of cultural and commercial activities, including a bird’s nest culture and cuisine festival, the Viet Nam Ao Dai Festival, a giant kite festival, an OCOP products and agricultural week, a seaside trade and food fair, and the Lam Son fruit festival. Organizers expect the event to attract between 600,000 and 800,000 residents and visitors.
The festival will also include exhibitions and live demonstrations of traditional Bau Truc pottery and My Nghiep weaving, as well as activities showcasing Khanh Hoa agarwood heritage, which is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. Other programs include tourism promotion campaigns, domestic and international business networking events, seminars on tourism pricing and service quality, a science and technology week focusing on innovation and digital transformation, and a series of sports activities in response to the festival.
Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, said Sea Festival Khanh Hoa 2026 carries special meaning as it will be the province’s first major festival following its administrative restructuring. He stressed that all activities must be carefully organized to ensure safety, efficiency and contribute to local socio-economic growth.
