At the working session, Mr. Hoang Nam, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said the cooperative relationship between the province and K-Market has gradually shifted from connection, surveys, and exchanges to specific coordination on products, standards, and markets.

Quang Tri province wants to continue expanding cooperation with K-Market by connecting resources that support agricultural development with production and the market.

Mr. Koo Sang Goo, Chairman of K-Market Viet Nam, also highly appreciated and valued the cooperation between Quang Tri province and K-Market. He believed that Quang Tri's agricultural products have the potential to develop and expand their market. In the immediate future, K-Market has selected organic rice to introduce into its supermarket chain.

In the coming time, the cooperation will take place on a larger scale, and many of Quang Tri's agricultural products will be introduced to markets through the K-Market system.

The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, officially establishing a cooperation framework and deploying activities for market connection, consumption, and the development of Quang Tri province's agricultural products.

K-Market is a leading supermarket and convenience store chain in Viet Nam, with more than 150 stores nationwide, specializing in Korean food and consumer goods.

After many visits and working sessions in Quang Tri, K-Market expressed interest in the province's potential agricultural commodities and wants to develop Quang Tri's agricultural products to introduce them into its supermarket chain, and possibly export them to South Korea.
