Hue City People's Committee just met with The Energy Consulting (South Korea) to seek investment opportunities in seaport infrastructure and logistics.

According to The Energy Consulting, the unit desires to explore the investment environment in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone (Hue City). At the same time, it proposed researching and implementing projects aligned with the enterprise's strengths, particularly solutions that promote the green port model transition, clean energy use, and greenhouse gas emission reduction at Viet Nam's seaports.

Mr. Kim Joon, General Director of The Energy Consulting, stated that the company is considering the feasibility of deploying items such as solar power systems, Alternative Maritime Power (AMP) systems, port energy management systems, and carbon emission monitoring mechanisms at Chan May Port within the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone.

"We hope Hue City will provide orientation and support in supplying information on seaport development planning, investment attraction mechanisms and policies, as well as facilitate field surveys and project feasibility studies, moving toward establishing specific international cooperation programs in the coming time", Mr. Kim Joon shared.

"Hue city always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for capable investors, especially projects applying advanced and environmentally friendly technologies. The city assigns relevant agencies and departments to coordinate and support the enterprise during the survey process, provide information on planning and investment procedures, and connect with relevant units to research and propose suitable cooperation plans, contributing to building Chan May into a modern, green seaport", Mr. Minh said.
