The Dong Nai People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 971/QĐ-UBND on the auction of mineral mining rights across the province in 2026.
Accordingly, Dong Nai will organize auctions for 16 mining sites. These include 13 construction stone mines (two of which have already received approval from the provincial authorities, five have completed exploration, and six are still awaiting exploration results); one construction sand mine; and two land-filling soil mines. In total, the auction areas cover more than 464 hectares, including 112 hectares of water surface designated for sand mining.

Photo: Tuong Tu.The Dong Nai People’s Committee has required that the auctions strictly follow the 2024 amended Law on Property Auction, the 2024 Law on Geology and Minerals, and other relevant regulations. Authorities emphasized that the auction process must be conducted openly and transparently, ensuring a fair playing field for all enterprises participating in mineral exploitation.
The Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment will be held responsible for developing the auction plan and organizing the auctions of mineral mining rights across the province in 2026, in accordance with regulations on minerals, property auctions and other relevant laws.
