Hue City boosts cooperation with Danish partners to attract investment while promoting green growth and sustainable development.

The Hue City People's Committee recently held a working session with Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, Commercial Counselor and Head of Trade and Investment at the Embassy of Denmark in Viet Nam, along with representatives from Carlsberg Viet Nam.

Denmark is currently one of Hue City's key investment partners. Danish projects have contributed positively to local socio-economic development and the budget. Notably, Carlsberg Viet Nam operates the HUDA Brewery in the Phu Bai Industrial Zone.

Mr. Ha Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, proposed that the Danish Embassy continue supporting the connection between Hue city and Danish partners and enterprises. This aims to expand cooperation, attract investment, and promote green growth and sustainable development.

"The city government always creates favorable conditions and stands with Danish businesses, organizations, and partners when they come to invest, do business, and implement projects in the area. With the support of the Danish Embassy and the companionship of businesses, the cooperative relationship between Hue city and Danish partners will continue to be consolidated and expanded, yielding practical results, and contributing to the city's socio-economic development, green growth, and sustainable development", Mr. Tuan shared.

Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, Commercial Counselor and Head of Trade and Investment at the Embassy of Denmark in Viet Nam, expressed his desire to promote cooperation between Danish partners, enterprises, and Hue City, thereby enhancing trade and investment relations and advancing green, sustainable development.

Highly appreciating Carlsberg Viet Nam's contributions to the city's socio-economic development, Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj hoped that Hue City would continue to provide attention, support, and favorable conditions for Carlsberg Viet Nam, as well as other Danish enterprises, to invest and operate effectively in the locality.

Both sides agreed to maintain dialogue, strengthen connections, and promote practical cooperation. This aims to leverage each side's potential and strengths, expand trade, investment, and development cooperation, and make the cooperative relationship between Hue City and Danish partners increasingly profound, effective, and sustainable.
