Invested with advanced European technology, this factory complex in Tay Ninh helps reduce emissions and limit negative environmental impacts.
Expanding the livestock - processing - export value chain
On March 25, in Tay Ninh province, the Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Le Van Han, chaired a reception and working session with De Heus Group and Hung Nhon Group. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Minh Lam, Mr. Huynh Van Son, along with leaders of various departments and agencies.
The parties focused their discussions on investment strategies, scaling up production, and promoting the livestock-processing-export value chain in Tay Ninh. This chain is built on a closed-loop model, ensuring comprehensive control from breeding stock, feed, and farming to processing and distribution, while strictly adhering to international standards such as GlobalGAP.

The projects focus on developing high-tech livestock farming, breeding stock production and building a modern processing system.
In the 2026-2036 period, plans are to expand laying hen and pullet facilities, raising the entire chain's total investment to approximately 13,100 billion VND (approximately $497 billion). The whole system is gradually forming an industrial-scale, concentrated livestock-farming zone, operating on platforms of biosecurity, automation, and international-standard management.
Concurrently, the projects integrate waste-treatment solutions based on a circular-economy model, in which livestock by-products are converted into biogas for operations and production, while simultaneously generating high-quality microbiological organic fertilizers.
Previously, on March 23 in Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Group, Bel Ga, and TTC Energy signed a strategic partnership in solar power, aiming to supplement renewable energy for the entire chain. This approach contributes to optimizing operational costs, reducing emissions and increasing sustainable value throughout the system.
The projects are implemented using a closed-loop process, modern technology, and international standards such as ISO and GlobalGAP. Notably, De Heus and Hung Nhon's projects aim for a green economy model, sustainable development, and contribute to achieving the net-zero emissions goal by 2050 as directed by the Vietnamese Government. Upon completion, the entire system is expected to reach a capacity of 80 million breeding chickens per year, 25 million broiler chickens for export per year, and 10,000 great-grandparent pigs, establishing a crucial foundation for developing a sustainable, stable and long-term livestock value chain.
Representatives of the two groups highly appreciate the investment environment in Tay Ninh province. Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, added that in this joint chain, Hung Nhon will collaborate with world-leading enterprises such as De Heus (Netherlands), Bel Ga (Belgium), Olmix (France), Big Dutchman (Germany), Orvia (France), and Den Ouden GrowSolutions (Netherlands) to invest in and develop high-tech applied projects, expand production chain linkages and supply Halal-certified poultry products (breeding stock and commercial).
According to the plan, with the slaughterhouse coming into operation alongside the synchronized production chain, Tay Ninh province expects to export its first batch of chicken products to the Halal market in early 2027. Previously, in 2023, Visakan Biotechnology Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, part of the Hung Nhon Group ecosystem, exported its first shipment of veterinary medicine to the Halal market.

Speaking about the decision to develop the project chain in Tay Ninh, Mr. Johan van den Ban, General Director of De Heus Vietnam and Asia, stated that this factory complex is invested with modern, advanced technology from Europe, contributing to reducing emissions and limiting negative environmental impacts. The poultry slaughtering capacity reaches approximately 18.7 million birds/year (equivalent to 6,000 birds/hour), meeting large-scale processing demands for export. "This is a significant project chain, creating a solid premise for Tay Ninh to become a high-tech livestock and food processing hub for the region and the whole country", shared Mr. Johan van den Ban.
